Long before Gida existed, I was researching the systems that fail people at critical life transitions, funded in part by the Institute of Politics' David Axelrod Reporting Grant, and developing an early platform addressing Space, Support, and Safety for survivors who might not seek help through traditional systems, with support from the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Chicago.
